So I took a drive last night to clear my head, and it turned out to be a really long drive. I explored alot, listened to a Rock playlist I recently made, and just enjoyed life for a bit. I've become mildly obsessed with a new song, "It's not over". I like it for the obvious reasons, for anyone who knows me and my life and reads the lyrics below, but also because I can sing it fairly well, it's well within my range and has an intensity I really like to sing with.

So I'd played it twice on the road trip, then I went to IHOP to grab some fud. I had fun at IHOP listening to people act wild at 2am and just generally was amused, and then I got in the car, noticed the MP3 player was almost out of power, so I started the engine, hit the radio, flipped past two bad, bad songs, and literally hit the third station on the first two chords of It's not Over. I laughed so hard I almost shed tears - life's full of little things like this sometimes, and they amuse me no end.

Anyway, here are the full lyrics, marvelously crafted, I think they describe a bevvy of situations but these really, really spoke to me when I was feeling down and out over the past week or two.
