Well, the part time gig continues and is fun. I was afraid it'd be icky and boring, but in truth, I'm passionate about reviewing and commenting on the entertainment industry (being that I wish I was *IN* it), so the articles keep flowing so far.

The redesign is complete. Thanks to the ever-wonderful taru_croft and a long while tinkering with colors, I give you Trystan Knight Journal 3.0 - http://trystanknight.livejournal.com/ It's designed for widescreen consoles that aren't maximized, which is how I generally keep my Firefox screen. (Mainly I'm hoping roxybisquaint likes it even if nobody else does.)

It has 8 different backgrounds all designed by me based on Season 2 promo shots of Terminator SCC, so I can cycle through them as I get bored. If you guys want to use them on your journal and have a journal format that will support them, I've made them publically available on my site .

They shoot him down in fear. ... but the beeps keep coming... they look up... on the cieling, seven - no ten - Kings crawling on the walls and ceilings, bringing more burgers. I had a bit of a car accident about 36 hours ago. I'm fine, as are my passengers. I was on Walton Rd trying to get up the really hard curve on that hill. (If you've ever driven Walton, you know it - here is a satellite image of the curve - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=walton+rd+montgomery+county+va&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=47.483365,82.792969&ie=UTF8&ll=37.158311,-80.513901&spn=0.002937,0.005053&t=h&z=18&iwloc=A - notice how much more acute that curve is than the google map seems to believe it is... I was driving north and bending around the U-shaped curve to the right, climbing the hill.)

Anyway, there was a spot of gravel and wetness on the side of the road and the car simply flew through the air, over a small gully and went over the driveway you see there that leads into the field, and rammed into the embankment on the far side of the driveway . There's another gully on that side, so the front end was smushed into the ground and the car was up on its side.

As you can see it was up on a very high angle and I had to literally crawl out of the driver's side window to escape from the vehicle and hope it didn't roll over ontop of me because that would have sucked. The front bumper was crushed up underneath the radiator and had skewed the radiator badly. Antifreeze got into the AC as well. The bumper mounts were back about 30 feet behind us. It was rather startling and I wasn't able to sleep until 4am.

At this time, the insurance is covering it and a rental car, but my premiums will obviously rise. I'm not sure how I feel about it all, the car just took OFF like I've never seen before. Anyway, that's what happened, so now you all know.
